In 2008, Heather Dorniden was leading the pack in the final heat of a 600-meter race at the Big Ten Indoor Track Championships. With 200 meters of the race to go Heather tripped and fell landing hard flat on her face. Instead of throwing in the towel, she jumped back up, sprinted around the track and won the race. She is currently on Team USA with her sights set on the next world Olympics.
